Service Options and selling through SENDirect
What is a service option?
Once you have listed a service you can create a number of ‘service options’ for that service.
A service option describes a particular aspect of your service that you want to promote. For example, if your service is an after school club you may have two service options:
Service option 1: 5-10 year olds, Tuesdays 3-5pm, £3
Service option 2: 11-15 year olds, Thursdays 6-8pm, £4
Families can see your service options and decide which is best for them. Service Options are shown in service search results as well as the service listing page itself. The image below shows an example of an accessible holiday cottage providing several different service options for different types of break.

Selling through SENDirect
If appropriate, you can choose to sell your Service Options through the SENDirect site. This is a quick, convenient and safe way of selling your services online and can be an efficient and simple alternative to setting up your own e-commerce facility.
We use PayPal to process the payments so you will need a PayPal merchant account to be able to do this.

Custom Options are a particular type of Service Option that you can offer and sell privately to individuals. Once a customer has enquired about your service you have the option to create a Custom Option, providing them with a bespoke Service Option that documents their specific requirements and can be sold to them directly.
