SENDirect for providers
SENDirect was created to help support families with disabled children. It does this by providing them with information and a place where they can see all the services that are available in their area.
You can use SENDirect to list your own services. Your account lets you keep track of your conversations and lets families buy services once you have agreed them. By registering and listing your service, activity or product you are helping families find what you have to offer. There are also other benefits to registering and listing with us.
Once you have registered your organisation on SENDirect you will be able to:
- Publish your services so families can find them easily using our specialised search filters
- Communicate with families using our online service
- Develop and offer ‘personalised options’ for families
- Respond to customer reviews
- Process payments online – making your life easier!
- Access information about local need so you know what sort of services need developing in your area
Listing an organisation or service takes less than 5 minutes once you get started. All listings are free.

Creating your account
It's easy to create your account using the guided registration form. Once you have registered your organisation you can start to list your service.

Once you have created your account you can list your services. Read our guidance on how to create a great service listing to make it easy for families to find what they are looking for.
Contact with families and their supporters
Families who like the look of a listed service can contact you through SENDirect to ask you more questions or to see if you can tailor your services to suit them better. They can share their child's details if they want to at this point, but they don't have to.
You will be notified automatically by email when you receive an enquiry and you can view, reply and track all enquiries through your account profile. After discussion with your customer you can even choose to create a 'Custom Option' for them that details exactly what you have agreed to provide them. You can set a price and even sell it online through SENDirect. See 'Service Options and Custom Options' below for more details.
Service Options and Custom Options
Service Options are part of your service listing and allow you to describe particular aspects of your service that you want to promote. Families can view your service options and decide which is best for them.
You can also choose to sell your Service Options online through SENDirect.
If you are in discussion with a family or supporter you can also create a 'Custom Option' which is a Service Option which is individual to them.

Closing an account
If you want to close your account, you just need to go to the 'Account Details' section on your account homepage. There is a red 'Close Account' button – this will give you the details of deleting your account and what happens to the data you had saved on SENDirect.
